Target asks Rumble to dance

Rumble proudly provided original music for Target’s new “Art for All” installation, showcasing a partnership between Target and the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in honor of the Ailey troupe’s 50th Anniversary. It is an homage to their legacy of African-American cultural expression.

Rumble’s Tommy Barbarella created the score which follows one man’s journey from the chaos of Uptown Saturday Night, to redemption and finally, peace.
Barbarella talked about the work; “It was an honor to be able to write for this project. Recognizing the history and contribution of Alvin Ailey with a piece like this is a great tribute.”

Target’s tribute to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is currently playing at LA Live in Los Angeles, CA and at Victory Park in Dallas, TX.
