Rumble adds ingredients to highly-praised holiday BREW

The ad community is abuzz this week about the latest holiday message from the Minneapolis agency, BREW.

Each year, BREW creates a unique holiday message to share with the world, and this year’s installment cleverly leverages–and lampoons–one of the most memorable political years in American history in order to create a holiday greeting that transcends both religion and political party.

Rumble provided the music and mix for the piece with an original track provided by composer Tommy Barbarella.

Adding to the holiday cheer, AdCritic gave BREW’s spot top billing in the days following its release.

Rumble plays role of dark stranger with a secret past in new Minnesota State Lottery campaign

Colle+McVoy has tapped into Rumble’s secret love for daytime television with its new campaign for the Minnesota State Lottery.

“Add some drama to your day with scratch games from the Minnesota State Lottery” is the theme of the TV and Radio campaign, drawing on the rich and often hilarious plots of the daytime Soaps.  Rumble composer Tommy Barbarella provided the perfect cinematic orchestration to drive home the firmly tongue-in-cheek daytime spoofs, with Matt Kirkwold providing the sound effects and final TV and radio mixes.

Some questions, however, go unanswered by the campaign.  Such as:  is Jess really Matt’s long-lost half-brother from their mother’s days in the circus, or is this just a ploy by Jess to get access to Matt’s guitar collection?  Why is Tommy so quiet?  What is he hiding?  And who the hell ate the last Clif™ Bar?!

Tune in next week to learn more.  Meanwhile, enjoy…
